We are pleased to report four new affiliations to the English Bridge Union:
Hailsham BC in Sussex
Castle Cary BC in Somerset
Sonera BC, a newly established club in Middlesex.
Settle BC, in Yorkshire, which is affiliating “in order to gain access to courses and support resources provided by the EBU and to raise our public profile with the aim of ensuring a steady inflow of new members to sustain our numbers.”
Poulton BC, in Lancashire, which has reaffiliated with the EBU. When discussing the re-affiliation of the Lancashire-based club, Club Chairman, Geoffrey Cowell, wrote that a primary reason was that they "believe that a large and successful Club like ours should be a member of the national body responsible for the game".
