My name is Jonathan Lillycrop and I have replaced Bev Purvis as Club Liaison Officer. I have been a keen bridge player since I learnt to play at age 13 and am also a Senior Congress Tournament Director. After 12 years working in IT Infrastructure for a bank I am excited to have made the switch to work for the EBU. In addition to my role as Club Liaison Officer I am also providing support for EBUScore the scoring software which is available free to all affiliated clubs.
The EBU has a number of forums discussing topics such as directing and scoring which have proved popular. A new forum has now been launched to discuss club related matters and the new forum can be found here. I hope people will find this forum useful, if you have a question for me which is of a more general nature where the answer may well be useful for other clubs then please feel free to post it there and I will endeavour to respond promptly.
Last week I made my first club visits and I look forward to visiting more clubs over the coming months. If your club would appreciate a visit, then please let me know and I will do my best to include it in my plans.
