Michael Byrne - Interview

Michael's role is as the EBU's Under 20 Squad Leader, and also a current England international.

1. What do you do?
I am a full time bridge teacher and lecturer.

2. How did you start playing bridge?
I started playing whist at the age of 4 and picked up bridge when I was 17 at home and school, from my maths teacher.

3. Where do you play bridge?
I play bridge at a variety of clubs around Manchester, mostly Manchester Bridge Club in Didsbury.

4. How often do you play?
I play duplicate once a week, and sometimes competitions at weekends, plus local league and cup matches.

5. What are your favourite films?
I like action films such as James Bond and comic book adaptations such as the recent Wolverine Film.
