England win Commonwealth silver medal

England have won the silver medal playoff at the 4th Commonwealth Nations Bridge Championship after beating India in the playoff. Congratulations to Ben Green & John Holland and Phil King & Cameron Small.

The gold medal was won by Wales by virtue of being the only national team to reach the final. The championship was won by the Chairman's team which comprised England international players Paul Hackett, David Bakhshi, Jason Hackett, David Mossop, Justin Hackett and Andrew McIntosh.

The England 2 team of Catherine Curtis & Paul Fegarty and David Kendrick & Jonathan Mestel narrowly missed a qualifying place, finishing in 5th in their group just 4.18 VPs outside the top four.
