Guernsey Congress ends with Simpson team win

The Confiance Guernsey Bridge Congress concluded at the weekend with a win for the Simpson team in the 4-session Swiss Teams. They finished 5 VPs ahead of Skorchev, with Malinowski in third. Congratulations to Angus Simpson, Alex Gauld, Andy Hall and Robert Plumley.

The first weekend's Swiss Pairs was won by Rob Lawy and Andrew Thompson, with clear daylight between them and second-placed Alan Cooke and Maris Sheppard and another big drop to Rune Hauge and Reidar Laland in third.
