The Bridge England Sim Pairs has now concluded and you'll be able to find all the results and commentaries below. The hand write-ups are provided mainly by current and former members of our international teams.
The money raised from the Bridge England Sim Pairs goes towards funding England’s international teams, and the 2016 event will go towards supporting the England Under 15 team. The Under 15 squad was formed in 2015, and the team was fourth in their first event, the European Championships, thereby earning an invitation to the 2016 World Championships.
Not only do these Sims support the team's involvement in the competition, but also the practice events for a larger squad of juniors, organised by a group of volunteer coaches. Those clubs which are taking part are therefore supporting both our junior internationals, and also the next generation of players. The EBU Selection Committee thanks them for their involvement.
