Welcome to three newly affiliated clubs

We are pleased to welcome three clubs to the English Bridge Union.

Welcome back to Poulton Bridge Club which has reaffiliated with the EBU from this month. When discussing the re-affiliation of the Lancashire-based club, Club Chairman, Geoffrey Cowell, wrote that a primary reason was that they "believe that a large and successful Club like ours should be a member of the national body responsible for the game". The club is situated in the centre of Poulton-le-Fylde, near Blackpool, and plays nine sessions each week (Monday to Saturday).

Hailsham Bridge Club, in Sussex, has also joined the EBU this month. The club plays in the town on Monday evenings and Friday afternoons.

Sonera Bridge Club, in Middlesex, has recently affiliated. The club is newly established and plays in South Kenton, in north west London, meeting every Thursday night. They also hope to introduce weekend sessions, and a comprehensive education program for newcomers and intermediaries.

Visitors are welcome at all three clubs. For more details please see their websites.
