England retains Junior Camrose & Peggy Bayer Trophies

England has retained the Junior Camrose and Peggy Bayer Trophies, with emphatic wins in both competitions.

By virtue of hosting the event this year, a second English team was permitted to participate in the Junior Camrose competition, and it was this EBU team which provided the main competition to the England team, finishing second, 13 VPs behind the winners. Scotland was third.

In the Peggy Bayer competition, England were emphatic winners, finishing with more than double the score of second-placed Ireland.

The English participants were:
Junior Camrose: England team - Yvonne Wiseman & Alex Birchall; Kyle Lam & Toby Nonnenmacher ; Shahzaad Natt & Ben Norton; NPC Paul Barden
EBU team - Laura Covill & Siyu Ren; Michael Alishaw & Stephen Kennedy ; Liam Sanderson & Daniel Winter ; NPC Harry Anoyrkatis
Peggy Bayer: Kripa Panchagnula & Harry Madden; Sam Anoyrkatis & Theo Anoyrkatis; Jack Ronayne & Theo Gillis; NPC Michael Byrne

The English squad will be looking to build on this result as they prepare to take part in the World Youth Team Championships in China in August. To contribute to the fundraising effort to support the teams' participation in the event, please make a donation through this page on the EBED website.
