Two medals, and other good results, for England at European Youth Pairs

England's Juniors have enjoyed a successful trip to Croatia for the European Youth Pairs Championships, leaving with two bronze medals and a number of other good results.

Tommy Brass & Ian Robson (pictured left) finished third in the U26 Pairs, with Stephen Kennedy and Michael Alishaw finishing in fifth place - England was one of only two countries with two pairs in the top 16.

Henry Rose and Oscar Selby (pictured right) claimed the bronze medal in the U16 Pairs.

The U26 Women's Pairs saw two English pairs narrowly miss a podium place, with Liz Gahan & Yvonne Wiseman finishing fourth, and Alex Birchall & Laura Covill finishing fifth.

In the President's Cup - the consolation event alongside the Pairs Championships - Jonathan Clark & Daniel Winter finished in second, with India Leeming & Hanna Tuus in sixth and Joshua Clarke & Henry Bissell in eighth.

The competition started with a Mixed Pairs in which a number of English pairs enjoyed good results. Alex Birchall & Shahzaad Natt finished 10th in the A Final. Louise Selway & Will Roper won the B Final, with Hanna Tuus & Tommy Brass in third, and Laura Covill & Nick Dean in fourth. India Leeming & Ian Robson made it four English pairs in the top ten.
