This was the consolation team's events in the Summer Meeting introduced in the early 1980s for all the remaining teams that didn't qualify for either of the main finals on the final day of the congress. When the format of the Summer Meeting was changed in 2022 and the teams became a one-day Swiss event, the Brighton Bowl became the trophy for this event and the two trophies from the main and secondary finals are not currently awarded.
