The Masters Pairs this weekend was hugely successful in its new format, with a four-fold increase in the number of entries. It is for those ranked below Regional Master, was held at multiple venues around the country, and scored nationally.
The winners were Alick Fraser & Nick Elmslie, with a score of 66.15 and played at Richmond Bridge Club. Second place went to Roger Burkeman & Iain Mackenzie, who played at South Bucks Bridge Club. Matthew Ticehurst & Nic Poletti, who played at Stamford Bridge Club, finished third.
