In honour of the late Max Bavin, the Executive committee of the European Bridge League has voted unanimously to rename the Main TD Course which takes place every 3 years as the "Max Bavin TD Course."
Courses for Tournament Directors are organized every few years by the EBL in order to train TDs who have already proven themselves at national level.
