The Overseas Congress in Rome, sponsored by Bridge Overseas, concluded yesterday.
Sarah Jones & Susan Dunnett (pictured here) were top in the Swiss Pairs, finishing with 132 VPs. Peter Cardiff & Gilly Cardiff were second with 130 VPs, and Charles Bucknell & Linda Benneworth were third with 124 VPs.
In the Swiss Teams, the Fontes team - Adrian Fontes, Mike Fithyan, Maria Budd & Mark Westley - finished in first place on 69 VPs. The team of Pauline Cohen, Elizabeth Barnard, Charles Bucknell & Linda Benneworth were just 2 VPs behind in second place.
