The National Pairs now only a few short weeks away, and there is still time to enter to take part in this nationwide, yet local, competition. We wanted to let you know that there is now an event taking place at the Stratford-upon-Avon Bridge Club. The Regional Finals are open to all and played at various venues around the country, see all venues taking part here.

Please note – Space is limited and we expect this venue to be popular since it is the only heat in the West Midlands. Please enter as soon as possible so you can ensure your entry.
Stratford heat: 11:45 for 12 noon; about half-hour break between sessions. £12 per person; cash on day please. Free tea, coffee, water & biscuits throughout, but do please bring your own sandwiches. There is space at the club for about 30 cars and some free on-street parking available, so please car-share as much as possible. Please note - All heats require a minimum number to go ahead. Please enter as soon as possible so we can ensure these numbers are reached. Please do not wait until the last minute to enter, 'just to make sure it goes ahead' - everyone waiting for everyone else to enter is self-defeating as you may all miss out.
All venues will play the same boards and the event will be scored across the entire field. The top 50 pairs nationally will qualify to play in the National Final (though this is optional - you can play only in the Regional Final if you wish). An additional ranking list will be produced from each region (scored by itself), with the winning pairs awarded regional trophies.
The event is part of the Championship Series, in which points can be earned towards the Player of the Year Championship.
