The June 2020 issue of English Bridge is out now to read online. As mentioned previously, the June issue will only be available online, there are no paper copies. We hope you enjoy it. Bridge in Lockdown Even during lockdown there is still plenty of bridge to be played online. Starting on page 56, there is a guide to the games being played on Bridge Base Online, Funbridge and Bridge Club Live, as well as events and initiatives being run by counties. Editorial Challenge Editor Lou Hobhouse takes on the challenge issued by Simon Cochemé to play with as many people online as possible, starting with the contributors to the magazine. Lou details her success - or lack of it - on page 44. The 2020/2021 Members' Diary Please remember if you wish to receive a diary with the August issue of English Bridge you will need to positively OPT IN and have enough magazine points by 15TH JUNE The best and easiest way to opt-in is by changing the setting on your account. After logging in to MyEBU, click on 'Account' in the top right corner, select 'My Details', and then in the 'Account Settings' section of the page, under the Magazine/Diary Preference option use the drop down list to choose your preferred setting. We believe this is the environmentally and financially responsible action to take in order to eliminate waste. If you do still wish to receive the diary, then please opt in and we will be very happy to send you one. If you no longer require a paper copy of the magazine and are happy to read it solely online, you can also amend your preferences in My EBU account setting, or by letting us know.
