How to void the results of one pair

I hope someone can help. Firstly, I do not use the EBU Virtual Club. I run a pairs event using BBO Teaching Tables, and use Bridgemates to record the scores. It works fine.

Today we had one player that kept logging off, and missed a lot of boards, So I want to void all their scores for pair 6.

If we had started as full tables, I could have gone back into movements and made that pair a missing pair. Unfortunately we had a half table, so I already had one missing pair. I cannot find way of having two missing pairs.

So my question is how can I remove all the scores for that pair.

I have deleted their scores using the Enter Scores option, and none of their score now appear.

But the results page still shows their results, albeit showing as zero out of 100

1 1 David Watkins & Tony Faint 15 70.00 90 77.78
2 4 Chris Alcraft & Nick Simon-Norris 15 51.33 90 57.03
3 9 Gwen Barso & Maureen Walkley 15 49.00 90 54.44
4 8 Tricia Heathfield & Steve Procopiou 15 42.33 90 47.03
5 7 Carolyn Markham & Delia Stones 12 32.33 72 44.90
6 5 Judy Brown & Mike Dancer 12 30.00 72 41.67
7 2 Martin Chadwick & Chris Earl 15 35.00 90 38.89
8 10 Tracey Ayris & Dominic Duggan 15 32.00 90 35.56
9 6 & 0 0.00 100 0.00

So, when I submit to EBU it asks for the EBU numbers.

Any help would be appreciated

  • If you import the XML file into EBUScore, you can mark a pair as missing before creating a new file & re-submitting.

  • Hi - thanks for your help. I have just seen that that if you go into Properties, then you can mark a pair as missing, and I now have a useable set of results.

  • Yes - the properties page is the way to go for more than one missing pair. This is true for all Pairs,Teams an Individual. In the Swiss Scorers, you mar missing pairs on the Assignments screen.
