We are sad to report the death of Dick Shek, who represented England and Great Britain on many occasions before he returned to Malaysia 15 years ago, where he played in their open team.
He had late stage pancreatic cancer and had recently commented on Facebook that he had "a wonderful career in Bridge both in UK and Malaysia... When I was very young, father told me that, when you grow up do what ever line of work you do, enjoy and always do the best you can, that is something I was always proud to say I did. I believe that I can stand in front of him and say very soon that I did all that. I feel so sorry for my wonderful supportive wife."
