Congratulations to Sarah Bell (left) who, with Marie Eggeling of Germany won a silver medal in the Women's Pairs of the World Bridge Series in Wroclaw. At the same time John Vos & Tidor Tiholov were second in the pairs side event.
Earlier we noted that Nevena Senior and Nicola Smith won silver medals in the Tri-Polar team in the McConnell Cup (Women's Teams).
Sally Brock and Fiona Brown also won bronze medals in the Baker team in the McConnell Cup.
In the Rosenblum (Open Teams) David Gold and Zia Mahmood were bronze medallists in the Robinson team, along with Andrew Black's team which contained Gunnar Hallberg, Andrew McIntosh and Tom Paske, who missed out on the final by 3 IMPs.
