The congress is proving popular, with 17 tables currently booked.
The bridge programme features a variety of sessions including Swiss Pairs, Open Pairs and Swiss Teams.
The congress will be held over 8 days, from 15-22 October, at the Pace Park Hotel Bolognese. The hotel building is a historic 19th century villa that has been restored into a beautiful, 4-star hotel. Sitting in 10,000 square metres of rich parkland, the hotel boasts an elegant lounge, and a superb restaurant with terraces overlooking the gardens. The hotelier, Signora Angelica Semenzato, is a keen bridge player and is very much looking forward to hosting the EBU Venetian Congress at her charming property.
There is an included excursion to the historic city of Bassano Del Grappa, with a delightful array of cultural gems. There are also great local bus options from directly outside hotel there are regular services into the centre of Venice (20 mins) and Treviso (10 mins).
The Bridge Fee is now included in the package - players no longer need to pay for bridge fees separately, but do all need to be members of the English Bridge Union or of another NBO where they live.
