I have been playing bridge since I was in the 6th form, though I never really understood the finer points of the game until I took an evening class many years ago, which really introduced me to the logic and subtlety of the game.
After a career in IT in the USA, and a brief period teaching in a secondary school, I have been teaching part time mainly at Pinner Bridge Club in North West London.
I am a Bridge Life Master (USA), but I think the main requirement as a teacher is to be patient and realise that people learn at different speeds.
