Rob Wilkinson

Rob is a full time bridge teacher running the well-respected ‘The Bridge School at Gerrards Cross’ in South Buckinghamshire, providing a wide range of bridge courses for all levels from absolute beginner to the more advanced player. Courses vary in duration and complexity but the emphasis is always on fun and enjoyment and a ‘learning by doing’ approach.

In addition to a wide range of courses, the Bridge School run regular half-day seminars and a varied play programme for all levels.
The Bridge School has a number of qualified bridge teachers and support staff and we ae continuing to grow our activity to cater for ever increasing demand from our students and players.

On a personal note, I have a mathematical degree level background (no surprise there!) but worked for 30 years in senior HR roles and Director level recruitment. I started teaching bridge about six years ago after a life changing experience. I have played bridge at a high level for many years but I particularly enjoy helping people develop their interest in bridge and I will frequently play with students when I can, to help them overcome their fears of duplicate bridge or perhaps help them move to the next playing level or just improve their skill levels.

I am available for both private lessons and ‘hands on’ playing tuition.
