Simon Cope wins pairs-teams double at Bournemouth

Simon Cope had a remarkably successful weekend at the Spring Bank Holiday Congress. Playing with Michael Byrne he won the Championship Pairs 2.5% ahead of the runners-up. Then, teamed up with Ben Green, John Holland and Gunnar Hallberg he won the Swiss Teams as well, albeit by a rather narrower margin. Our congratulations to the new King of Bournemouth!
