As the saying goes, a problem shared is a problem solved. This was the thinking from Ian Sidgwick (Gloucestershire Chair and EBU Board Member) when he looked at the problems faced by struggling small clubs in his county.
The idea was to help all small and struggling clubs by bringing them together to pool resources and stoke enthusiasm.
