England win the Camrose

The England team has won the Camrose for the third year running.

After the first weekend, held in Wales in January, the England team were 8 VPs off the lead. They overhauled this deficit by winning all five of their matches on the second weekend, held in Manchester, to win by 7 VPs.

Congratulations to the team of Ben Green (also NPC for the second weekend) & John Holland, Norman Selway & Derek Patterson, Brian Senior & Nevena Senior, Alexander Allfrey & Andrew Robson, Tony Forrester & David Gold, and Tom Townsend & David Bakhshi, and NPC Simon Cochemé. The team from the second weekend is pictured with the trophy.

Northern Ireland were second, and the EBU team were close behind in third place (there were two English teams by virtue of being host for the second weekend). Well done on their bronze medal to Catherine Curtis & Paul Fegarty, David Kendrick & Jonathan Mestel, Jeffrey Allerton & Chris Jagger, Frances Hinden & Graham Osborne, and Phil King & Cameron Small, and NPC David Burn.
