January Robot Ladder Competitions

January's robot ladder competitions, have now concluded.

In the 12-board ladder for January, Matt Foster won the top prize of £30 with an average score of 69.84% over six games. Robert Plumley was second, with 69.41% and Jaak Känd third with a score of 69.24%. There were also prizes for fourth and fifth place.

In the main Janaury matchpoints ladder, David Dawson finished top of the leader board. His best six scores in the month averaged 63.46%, and he wins £30. Second place was claimed by Robin Prestwich with an average score of 62.91%, he wins £20. There were also cash prizes for third to fifth places.

In the handicap ladder, for the players whose scores exceed their NGS by the greatest amount. Luis Barbero finished top of the leader board over the top six games, with a handicap score of 9.05, winning £25. The second place prize went to Robin Prestwich with a score of 7.36. There were also prizes for third and fourth place.
