January Robot Ladder Competitions

December's robot ladder competitions, have now concluded.

In the 12-board ladder for January, Jaak Känd won the top prize of £30 with an average score of 71.33% over six games. Tim Glover was second, with 70.08% and Gordon Rainsford third with an average score of 69.41%. There were also prizes for fourth and fifth place.

In the main January matchpoints ladder, Godspal finished top of they leader board. They were a guest player from France, who as a non-EBU member was not eligible for a prize. Tony Verran was second, with an average score of 62.58% and David Dawson third with an average score of 61.19%. There were also prizes for fourth and fifth place.

In the handicap ladder, for the players whose scores exceed their NGS by the greatest amount. Karen Read finished top of the leader board over the top six games, with a handicap score of 2, winning £25. The second place prize went to Tony Verran with a score of 0.44. There were also prizes for third and fourth place.
