May Robot Ladder Competitions

May's robot ladder competitions, have now concluded.

In the 12-board ladder for May, Yu Kew Leung won the top prize of £30 with an average score of 70.08% over six games. Jaak Känd was second, with 69.72% and Amr El-Kashef third with an average score of 69.53%. There were also prizes for fourth and fifth place.

In the main May matchpoints ladder, Jakub Mitke finished top of the leader board. His best six scores in the month averaged 65.99%, and he wins £30. Second place was claimed by David Dawson with an average score of 64.14%, he wins £20. There were also cash prizes for third to fifth places.

In the handicap ladder, for the players whose scores exceed their NGS by the greatest amount. Luis Barbero finished top of the leader board over the top six games, with a handicap score of 7.17, winning £25. The second place prize went to Karen Read with a score of 5.60. There were also prizes for third and fourth place.
