October's robot ladder competitions, have now concluded.
In the 12-board ladder for October, Jeremy Baker won the top prize of £30 with an average score of 71.34% over six games. Jaak Känd was second, with 69.86% and Graham Hedley third with an average score of 69.79%. There were also prizes for fourth and fifth place.
In the main October matchpoints ladder, Tony Verran finished top of they leader board with an average score of 63.15%. David Dawson was second, with an average score of 62% and Godspal third with an average score of 61.98%. There were also prizes for fourth and fifth place.
In the handicap ladder, for the players whose scores exceed their NGS by the greatest amount. Luis Barbero finished top of the leader board over the top six games, with a handicap score of 8.74, winning £25. The second place prize went to Justine Thompson with a score of 2.92. There were also prizes for third and fourth place.
