Thank you for everyone that has responded to our recent request for members to let us know your date of birth, or year of birth. This information is very useful for our planning of the future of bridge in England. This important research directly impacts our efforts to support clubs.
So far we have received over 7,500 responses. This means that we now know the age of over 50% of those who play in our sessions. Once we have compiled all the data, we will release further details of what we have learned from the survey.
If you have not yet updated your date of birth, or year of birth, we would very much appreciate you doing so via your My EBU account. We only use this information for research and occasionally for eligibility for competitions. We do not make member data available to any third-party though we may share the anonymous statistics.
If you did not receive a recent email, this may be due to one of two reasons:
- We already have your date of birth - in which case, thank you!
- We do not currently hold a valid email address for you - please check your details and update your email address if you have one you would like up to use
