The trials to play in England's Open team in the 2018 European Championships have been won by Jeffrey Allerton and Chris Jagger. They finished the four day trial on 110.50 IMPs, with David Bakhshi and Artur Malinowski in second on 76.87. Michael Byrne and Kieran Dyke were third on 61.25, the top three pairs finishing well clear of the field.
The top two pairs will be invited to be part of the team alongside Andrew Robson & Tony Forrester, who were already selected.
The 2018 European Championships will be held in Ostend, Belgium, 6th - 16th June.
