All the expenses are in and we have done our sums, and it seems that the money raised by the membership for the Junior teams to participate in the World Youth Team Championships in China, coincided almost exactly with what the project cost. There is a very small surplus in donations over costs and this will be used towards reinforcing the training of our Juniors going forward.
This was a huge achievement, and we would once again like to express our thanks to all those who contributed - clubs and counties, schools and companies, and of course all individual members who donated to help with this worthy cause. This will not be forgotten, and those players who went and experienced the atmosphere and the rigour of a World Championship will not forget that this opportunity was afforded them by the generosity of others.
