Congratulations to Robin Jepson and Alan Brosgill (pictured) for winning the main Swiss Pairs at the Northern Easter Festival in Ilkley with 172 VPs. In second place were Steve Ray and Georgia Ray with 162 VPs and in third place were Jackie Pye and John Holland with 141 VPs.
The Swiss Teams was won by Jackie Pye, John Holland, Alan Mould and Michael Newman with 107 VPs (picture). The Hayward team finished second, just 2 VPs ahead of the Kenyon team in third place. The Improvers Teams competition was won by Katherin Libbert, Jon Crook, Andrew Pearson and Kathy Pearson (pictured). The Binks team finished second, with the Clifford team in third place.
The weekend started off with a Mixed Pairs, Open Pairs and Improvers Pairs. The Mixed Pairs was won by David Harrison and Jill Rushton (picture), with Michael Levi and Fiona Brown in second. The Improvers Pairs was won by Andrew Pearson and Kathy Pearson (picture), with Tony Harmer and Anita Craig in second place (picture). The Open Pairs was won by Andrew Thompson and Dan Crofts (picture), with Pat Watson and Carolyn Fisher in second place.
