Simon Gillis & Erik Saelensminde (picture) were the winners of the Championship Pairs at London Easter Festival over the weekend, with a score of 60.11%. In second place were David Gold and Catherine Seale with 58.80% and in third were Frances Hinden and Graham Osborne with 58.28%.
Easter Sunday saw the teams event, which was won by Jack Mizel, Tore Marskar, Brian Senior and Ingar Hansen (pictured, left to right not including Jack Mizel) with a score of 100 VPs, just ahead of the Baker team in second place. Three teams were joint in third place with 93 VPs, the teams of Sansom, Ivanov and Hackett.
On Monday there was the Swiss Pairs and Jack High Swiss Pairs events. In the Swiss Pairs, Heather Bakhshi and David Bakhshi (picture) claimed first place with 113 VPs, Mike Eden and Carrie Eden were second with 108 VPs and Ben Green and Ankush Khandelwal were just behind in third with 106 VPs. The Jack High Swiss Pairs, was won by Alistair Brown and Terry Dillon (picture) with 85 VPs, who were just 1 VP ahead of Philip Goldenberg and Diana Cook in second. Stephen White and Ala Swietochowski were third with 81 VPs.
