The Seniors Congress took place on RealBridge this week.
The Championship Pairs was won by Andrew Urbanski & Mike Letts (pictured), who finished on 55.70%, ahead of second place pair Brian Ransley & Peter Nicholls with 55.36%. In third place were Jim Hay & Jackie Davies with 53.98%.
The Swiss Pairs competition - for those eliminated from the Championship Pairs, or joining the congress later - was won by John Ferguson & Ian Hamilton (picture), who were 3 VPs ahead of second placed Paul Darby & Bogdan Drobny with 105 VPs. Just one VP behind in third place were Tony Disley & Adrian Thomas with 104 VPs.
The Swiss Teams event was won by the Chamberlain team of Patrick Shields, Richard Chamberlain, Tony Sowter & Rob Lawy (picture) finishing 20 VPs ahead of the second placed Huggett team: Steve Preston, David Huggett, Jeremy Dhondy & Fred Hotchen. Just two VPs behind, in third place, were the Kaltz team of Michael Kaltz, Jim Niblett, Mike Fawcett & Denis King with 88 VPs.
