Chris Jagger lectured in mathematics before training as an accountant for Deloitte, and then running their national training programmes, including a lot of the so-called ‘soft skills’ training (leadership, presentation skills, marketing, train the trainer, business writing, and so on). He now does a variety of jobs and volunteer roles including being bursar for a small research institute, teaching Further Mathematics A level, and being a tour guide in Cambridge (he also writes tours as well, from the more serious ‘Tudor tour of Cambridge’ to the somewhat more frivolous ‘London Harry Potter tour’).
He has won the Premier League and Camrose (twice). The Gold Cup and Brighton Teams have remained elusive (though he has won the Brighton Cat!).
Chris is also a ballroom dancer, and has won the British Formation championships and represented England at the World Championships. He shares these interests with his wife Cath, although the arrival of their son Tim in 2012 has left little time for anything other than work, not sleeping, and their third passion, travel.
