Sarah Bell first learnt to play bridge at school. She started pursuing her interest in the game more seriously at Cambridge University, where she studied Natural Sciences. She now works as a teacher in London, with some professional bridge work too.
Sarah first represented England as a junior and has since played for the national mixed team. Her proudest international achievements are winning an ACBL national title in the Summer Nationals in 2017 and taking the silver medal in the World Women's Pairs in 2022 with her German friend, Marie Eggeling.
Away from bridge, Sarah is interested in various craft-y hobbies, as well as cooking and gardening. In the last couple of years she has started making her own charcuterie, and is now planning to branch out into cheese-making.
