Congratulations to George Nash who celebrated his 100th birthday at Huddersfield BC this month.

George is one of the club's best players. As well as cake and fizz, the party also had printed face masks with George's face, so everyone could be George for the afternoon!

Liz Greensides, Membership Secretary at Huddersfield BC and regular Monday afternoon partner of George, said "At Huddersfield Bridge Club we were delighted to hold a 100th birthday party for our oldest member, Mr George Nash. George has been a member at the club for well over 50 years, and still plays regularly on a Monday afternoon. He arrives with a twinkle in his eye, and retains a very good aptitude when playing the cards. Everyone delights in his bidding, which is always very much an adventure, especially for his partner! Congratulations to George, who we hope will be attending his Monday afternoon sessions for many months to come."
