View from Cheddar Gorge to Weston-Super-Mare

The West of England Congress takes place Face to Face in Weston Super Mare 8th to 10th October 2021. Congress Details can be found by clicking HERE.

This lovely part of England is a terrific excuse for a short break and some quality Bridge.

Weston Super Mare’s Helicopter Museum is the largest dedicated helicopter collection in the world with over 100 helicopters on display in an all-weather undercover hanger. Open Wednesday to Sunday from 10:00am till 4:30pm you can even book a flight 1,000 feet above Weston Super Mare. A chance to tick “Helicopter Ride” off the bucket list!

Not interested in helicopters?  Just 15 minutes drive away is the National Trust’s “jewel in the crown” Tyntesfield.

And, Weston Super Mare is just half an hour’s drive from Cheddar Gorge with stunning landscapes.

Clevedon is about 15 minutes away (one junction away on the M5). The sea front has lots of cafes, a pier and interesting architecture.

For walking trips visit Weston Super Mare’s own tourism site

You’re also close to the beautiful cathedral town of Wells and the hugely popular West Somerset Railway.

Hotel information with specially negotiated rates can be found on the Congress Page on Somerset’s Bridge Web site
