The National Pairs competition has been won by Jeffrey Allerton & Frances Hinden (pictured).
50 Pairs had qualified for the National Final from the Regional Finals, and Frances & Jeffrey finished atop the rankings with 58.01% after the two days of play. Sue Oakford & Rod Oakford were second with 56.63% and David Kendrick & Simon Mostyn were third with 56.31%.
The National Pairs is part of the Championship Series of competitions, with results counting towards the Player of the Year Competition. Their victory moves them up to a joint 14th place.
