Bagworth Whistlestop Bridge Group is a fairly new club that was established in 2018. While they are not currently affiliated to the EBU, they are a successful and growing club with a very active membership.
Bridge competition in North East for Cancer Research UK
North East Bridge Association held their Summer Pairs competition recently (9th June) at Hexham Bridge Club. The annual competition is open to bridge clubs across the North East of England, and this year it was also part of the Bridge - It's a Big Deal! festival in aid of Cancer Research UK.
Horsham Bridge Club helps Children in Need
As reported in the Sussex World paper, Horsham Bridge Club recently raised £950 for Children in Need during six charity games in November.
The games, involving 170 players at the club and online, as part of the Children in Need Simultaneous Pairs national event that raised over £60,000 during the same week last year.

Café Bridge - Bridge with a Difference
Café Bridge is is a social style of duplicate pairs championed by Brianbridge.net.
Because of the social aspect of café bridge, it is a great way for clubs to host charity events as well as making the club and bridge visible to the wider public.

This spring a new competition is happening online that sees four clubs working together to create a win-win competition for players and charities.
The Yorkshire Four, is an exciting series of 4 Blue Point Swiss Pairs events run under different Yorkshire club names through the spring months.
