English Bridge Education and Development runs Club Teacher Training Courses around the country in response to demand.
This course is intended to help membership recruitment in your club, and to help bridge clubs to grow their membership through an integrated teaching programme.
The purpose of this course is to provide introductory training for club members who offer a teaching programme at their club. This course provides the springboard for a programme in which the whole membership is invested, to attract and teach new players, nurture their development and integrate them in to the club duplicate sessions.
Aylesbury (EBU), Tuesday 13th November and Wednesday 14th November 2018
South Bucks BC (Burnham), Tuesday 4th and Wednesday 5th December 2018
Any additional courses will be added to this page of the EBED website.
If you wish to attend a course, but no course is scheduled within a reasonable distance from your home, please let EBED know via email to assist them in their forward planning.
In the event that your club (or county association) wishes to send several delegates on a course, it may be possible to make special arrangements or to set up a course to suit your specific requirements. The club/county should be willing to host such an event, and you are advised to talk in the first instance to your County Secretary to help identify other demand in your area. Enquiries for further information may be made via email.
EBED recommend that before you request a place on the course you have a go at the quiz in this document. This will help reassure you that your bridge knowledge is appropriate for you to become an EBTA Club Teacher.
To book your place on this course, please contact Lisa Miller on 01296 317217.
