European Mixed Teams Championship STAGE 2 NOW ON REALBRIDGE

The Trials

Entries are now closed.

The European Mixed Teams Championship Trials will take place over two stages on the dates noted below. The trials will be held at the Young Chelsea Bridge Club and entries are now open. Entries will close Friday 26th November at noon.

Entries are £135 per person

Juniors (including squad partnerships) are entitled to half-price entry to this event

Open Trials 2021

Entries are now closed. 

A pairs trial will be held to select the Open team for the 2022 Europeans. It will be held over two stages, with eight pairs qualifying to join two exempted pairs in the second stage.

Stage 2 will take place on the 19th - 22nd November 2021 at the Young Chelsea BC,  21-23 Dalling Road, London, W6 0JD. If travelling by car, it is recommended to park to the North, West or South-West of the club (paid on Friday, free at the weekend). There is also a multi-storey car park in Kings Mall.

Playing Cards with Children part 1

Card games are a fun way for children to learn maths, strategy and social skills. In this short series of blogs we will look at different fun games you can play at any time.

This game develops number recognition, the naming of suits and cards, memory skills and concentration.

Take out the Ace, 2, 3, 4 and 5 of hearts and spades from a pack of cards.

Shuffle these 10 cards and then lay them out, face down in a random pattern.

Since 2007/2008 the Premier League has acted, in part, as the Camrose Trial

In the late 1950s and early 1960s the first trial was to pick a team for the match vs N Ireland and the 2nd trial for other matches

A Day in the Life...

I wake up at 7:30am, while having breakfast I like to catch up with the daily news and have a snuggle with my cat Jess on the sofa. I leave my house at 8:45am to make the 5-minute journey to the office in Aylesbury.
