The 10th European Transnational Championships has now concluded.
The Women's Teams event was won by the Tri Polar team of Irene Baroni (Italy), Kathrine Bertheau (Sweden), Janice Seamon-Molson (U.S.A.), Nevena Senior (England), Nicola Smith (England) & Anam Tebha (U.S.A.) (pictured).
They beat the Baker team of Lynn Baker (U.S.A.), Sally Brock (England), Fiona Brown (England) & Karen McCallum (U.S.A.) in the final yesterday, Thursday 15th June. The top three team sin the evets all had English representation, as the Green team of Heather Dhondy (England), Marcia Green (England), Christina Lund Madsen (Denmark), Jovanka Smederevac (France) & Nikica Sver (Croatia) finished with the bronze.
In the Mixed Board-a-Match, team Xanadu, finished third with 61 VPs. The team included, Per-Ola Cullin (Sweden), Espen Erichsen (England), Helen Erichsen (England), Marion Michielsen (Sweden), Diana Nettleton (England) & Thomas Paske (England) (picture).
In the Women's Pairs final, Helen Erichsen (England) & Fiona Brown (England) won bronze with 55.12%, (picture).
