EBU Year End Congress
The EBU Summer Meeting in Eastbourne was a wonderful success and we would like to thank all the counties and clubs that helped with the promotion of the event by publishing the congress advert on their websites.
The next big bridge event will be the EBU Year End Congress in London and we hope that counties will again help to promote this event by publishing the attached advert and linking it to https://www.ebu.co.uk/competitions/year-end.
Competitions Updates
The National Teams League is starting this month, and County Associations and clubs are asked to advertise this and encourage their members to look at forming teams. The arrangements for matches are flexible, and with multiple divisions there is scope to cater for all standards of player.
The Competitions WG have been consulting County Associations about the future of Online One Day Green Point events, and will shortly be making a recommendation to the EBU Board about this. They are also conducting a review of the EBU calendar of events, looking at whether the calendar is too crowded and at whether it has the right balance between online and face-to-face events. Any thoughts on these topics are welcome.

Last month we mentioned the new Club Directory that aims to help enquirers find a club to play or learn bridge. If you have not yet done so, please take a look and complete our online club details form
