Celebration

The EBU Spring Overseas Congress, sponsored by First for Bridge, started yesterday (4th March) in Cala Ratjada, Majorca. Tournament Director Chris Benneworth talks through the first day:

Christmas may now be a distant memory, but Rugby Bridge Club certainly know how to celebrate in style! The above photos were taken at the recent Christmas party. 

A belated very happy birthday to Edith Pleasance, 

Edith started playing at Attleborough Bridge Club in 1950. Became a founder member of Wymondham U3A in 2001and started the Bridge Group. 

Across Chelmsford Bridge Clubs over 50 tables of Bridge Players enjoyed a Christmas Party. So, if food is a gauge of the popularity of Bridge, Chelmsford is doing well.

The great thing about the Christmas Parties is they spanned every level of player.

As reported in the Sussex World paper, Horsham Bridge Club recently raised £950 for Children in Need during six charity games in November.
