As a change from duplicate bridge the club could have a session of rubber bridge.

In a club setting Chicago may work well. This is where a set of 4 deals are played, the vulnerability for the 4 deals is preset as None, Dealer, Dealer, All. After the 4 deals pairs can move to the next table so they still play against different people through the course of the session. Partnerships can also change after each 4 deals if desired. Pairs or individuals should keep track of their score through the session remembering to claim honours.
