The event is run by Yorkshire Contract Bridge Association on behalf of the EBU.

The event consists of twelve 7-board matches. Scoring is by traditional Match Points using current round assigning converting to Victory Points.
There will be a complimentary 2-course hot buffet supper on Saturday. Sandwiches and refreshments can be pre-ordered with the hotel on the Sunday.
The Swiss Pairs is part of the Pairs Player of the Year Award.
There will be 9-High Swiss Pairs on Saturday 3rd October at 12 noon to 4.30pm approx. playing 25 boards. Including full afternoon tea with free tea/coffee throughout the competition & unlimited free parking.

0.25 green points per match won and 0.13 green points per match drawn. Bonus ranking awards are stratified: (A) overall ranking to the top quarter, (B) No Premier Life Master or above, (C) No Premier Regional Master or above.
