The event is run by Yorkshire Contract Bridge Association on behalf of the EBU.

The event consists of twelve 7-board matches. Scoring is by traditional Match Points using current round assigning converting to Victory Points.
There will be a complimentary 2-course hot buffet supper on Saturday. Sandwich and cake afternoon tea on Sunday are included in the entry fee.
There will be 9-High Swiss Pairs on Saturday 5th October at 12 noon to 4.30pm approx. playing 25 boards.

Master Points
Main event
0.25 green points for each match won and 0.13 green points for each match drawn. Bonus ranking awards are stratified as follows: (a) Overall ranking to the top quarter (b) No Premier Life Master or above (c) No Premier Regional Master or above.
Agreements
Level 4 agreements are permitted in all events.

Accommodation
Current room rates £130 (double occupancy), £120 (single occupancy) including breakfast. Free parking is included. Contact the hotel for booking. These rates are held until 1st September 2024.
Please note: Most hotels cannot guarantee check-in times earlier than 3pm.
