2020 Catering and Parking Arrangements

First Class Bridge Academy (Billericay) - Free car parking, unlimited. Tea coffee and biscuits provided free. There is a cafe below the club where food can be ordered for the anticipated 3pm break. The bridge club is located next to the Wedding dress shop at the top of the balcony.

Bradford BC - Private parking available at both the front and the back of the club - plus some parking on road. A full buffet will be provided at the interval at a cost of £8 per person. This will consist of home made quiche, meats, salmon, salads, potatoes, a variety of puddings and coffee or tea. All our food is bought and prepared for this one event. It is, therefore, very helpful if we can have an idea of how many players require the meal. Vegetarians are well catered for but if there are other special dietary requests we would like to know beforehand so we can prepare an appropriate dish.

Exeter BC - Gipsy Hill Hotel has a selection of sandwiches and cooked meals available during the break, plus tea and coffee and a licensed bar. Players will be asked to order in the morning when they arrive. Free parking is available on the site. Please note access is complicated at the moment by an adjacent building site. Directions to the hotel are available on the Exeter Bridge website.

Oxford BC - Players may bring their own food to eat on the premises, or buy food at nearby shops and cafes in Summertown. Free teas and coffees available all day. Free parking on side streets near to the club.

Richmond BC - A selection of jacket potatoes & sandwiches will be available for collection at lunch time, if booked before the start of the session. Free parking on roads.

Solihull (WMBC) - No food or drinks on the premises unless purchased on the premises, catering and licensed bar onsite.

Welwyn Garden City BC - There is a kitchen area where players can make drinks and there will be a member of GLL (Gosling) staff present until 1pm who can sell players a drink (small snacks e.g. biscuits) payment by card only. Players will need to bring their own food e.g. sandwiches etc. There is plenty of free parking.

Young Chelsea BC - The club has a licensed bar and a kitchen serving a reasonably priced menu of salads and sandwiches. Please do not park in the courtyard where the club has its entrance. Just two spaces there are reserved for club officials. The remaining spaces are for the use of the freeholder and those in the adjacent flats. Roads near the club have metered on street parking. You should avoid parking in zone G in which stays are payable and limited to a maximum of two hours. Zone G lies mostly to the east of the tube line, but includes Lime Grove and roads leading off it just to the west and north of the club. Roads west of the tube line to the north of Goldhawk Road in zone J and to the south in zone K can be parked in freely at weekends. Spaces can usually be found in these roads, but note that some one way systems apply.
